Easter is always a big celebration at Walt Disney World resorts! The day before Easter, each resort will post a calendar listing the special activities they have planned for Easter Day. You can find all the resort festivities for Easter 2022 here.
Mardi Gras 2022: Party at Port Orleans!
It’s no surprise that Port Orleans - French Quarter, the Disney resort known for celebrating the spirit of New Orleans all year long, is the best place to be when Mardi Gras rolls around each year! This resort really goes all-out to make Mardi Gras incredibly fun for guests with a parade, a nighttime party, special character meets, and more.
Valentine’s Day 2022: Family Fun at Walt Disney World Resorts
Valentine’s Day is a fun holiday at Walt Disney World resorts! Disney treats it as a minor holiday, so not all of the resorts host special Valentine’s Day activities, but I was able to visit some resorts this year that had some cute activities scheduled. The Deluxe resorts and Fort Wilderness are really the best places to be - most of them had something fun planned and offered some unique activities!
Halloween 2021: Frightful Fun at Walt Disney World Resorts
Disney resorts really go all-out on Halloween! If you’re looking for a memorable, free way to celebrate Halloween during your Disney trip without spending hundreds of dollars on tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, hanging out at the resorts is a great alternative.
Easter at Animal Kingdom Lodge: Painting Ostrich Eggs!
Animal Kingdom Lodge is a one-of-a-kind resort, and you can always count on them to provide incredibly unique ways to celebrate every holiday! Their long-standing Easter tradition allows guests to paint real ostrich eggs for Easter, and I was lucky enough to join in this year!
